Program A, face to face 09.30-10.30am (Japan time)
Program B face to face (with limited Zoom connection if possible) 11am-12 (Japan time).
全部で３時間ですが１時間のProgramを2回開催するので気軽に参加してください。
Program Aのみに参加したい場合も、大丈夫です
Program A （1時間）は参加者とHumanとPuppetの動きや仕草についての考え方を簡単なExercisesで紹介。
Program Bの方 （一時間）はグリーンスクリーン、レヤー、人形・人間役者の位置などの使い方を簡単な説明をします。
Content
In the next workshop we’ll explore simple human movement and puppetry. Access to the internet may be limited but we'll share our set design methods. We will use simple green screen effects and rough animation.
This workshop will be face to face but we'll send you a Zoom link to view Program B, in case the internet connection is reliable (see times above).

Studio Kura, Itoshima
Richard will spend a month in Studio Kura, Itoshima, Japan, along with 9 or so other artists working on individual projects. Richard hopes to film and edit, and develop new ideas with local participants. At the end of the month, there'll be a sharing and presentation of work in progress at Studio Kura.

What are we working on?
This workshops take scenes from the Pinocchio story as a stimulus - and then go somewhere else!
At the moment we are thinking about the connection between Itoshima, Japan and Sefton Borough UK. Both, are by the seaside and they have . It is also about Geppetto and Pinocchio and the way they save themselves from a sea monster. This will contribute to multimedia performance a version that will be as much for adults as for children.
地球の反対側に位置しているものの糸島もサウスポートも小さな海辺の街で、美しい海岸線が広がっています。私たちは、現在、「ピノキオ」からピノキオとゼペットが、鯨に飲み込まれるシーンを製作中です。いろいろな素材を使って、海のモンスター、船、珊瑚や不思議な生物を制作するつもりです。
Take part
You are most welcome to join: no knowledge of performance is required. We are interested in working with, and nurturing, mature performers. If you love making things, acting, and/or storytelling you’d be welcome. The other participants in the workshop will puppeteers Emi Shimizu and Kay Aika, students plus other performers from
Sefton Borough and from Japan.
