I am a performer and Senior Lecturer in Performance (October 2014 -) and Programme Leader for BA (Hons) Comedy Writing and Performance at the School of Arts & Media and Creative Technology at the University of Salford.

I have run numerous Physical Theatre and clowning workshops for practitioners since 1997 and for schools, colleges, universities and museums from Birmingham to Zagreb Universities. I have supervised two PhDs to completion: on Jean-Luc Nancy and The Ensemble; and on Theatre for the Gamified Society and am supervising another on Northern Identities and Comedy.
