Lovely to share a cup of tea/coffee/oxo/herbal with the Sefton Older People's Forum today. We discussed Café Delay, speaking foreign languages, and clowning (silent and verbal).
I really miss the conviviality, the hubbub and possibilities for people watching and eavesdropping in the café. I miss the gossip and ideas of cafes. I miss the vibe and the variety. I miss the anonymity, and the interaction... In short I miss the performance of café society.
In our online meeting we slurped and sighed, and crunched our biscuits. Looking forward to putting our mugs out there once Ethical Approval has been received!
Thanks to Justine Shenton.
Thanks for posting Corinne. Here are some links from the talk today. I'm aiming to start in September so I'll let you know when the next event is for this project.
