To prepare for my application for citizenship, I have had some German language coaching from Val Lewis, who works with migrant groups from Eastern Europe and the Middle East. Val used to be a Modern Languages teacher and is a stickler for good grammar, especially gender, and she had some suggestions which you will see carried out in future blogs.
